Não acredito que o ser humano seja um ser de segunda categoria ou inferior a nada que o universo possa apresentar mas, sei que isso serve apenas para a minha fé e a daqueles que creem em Cristo e em Deus. Então, tive curiosidade para pesquisar e saber quais seriam as condições que o universo teria de oferecer para que a vida, evoluída como a nossa ou, talvez, até mais avançada, pudesse existir. Vamos a elas.
Precisa ter uma quantidade absurda de variáveis que são extremamente específicas e nem sequer sabemos quais são todas elas. Conhecemos apenas algumas. Então, para existir e se sustentar uma vida inteligente e evoluída, tanto quanto a raça humana ou mais evoluída ainda, você precisa ter água, carbono, fósforo, nitrogênio, oxigênio, tudo isso em quantidade e condições específicas, que precisam reagir entre si de formas ainda desconhecidas. Tem que ter uma estrela relativamente parecida com o sol, a uma distância específica, nem perto demais para queimar a vida, nem longe demais para congelá-la. Precisa ter um satélite semelhante a lua para que sua gravidade influencie positivamente no processo. Precisa ter um campo magnético que proteja de todas as ameaças desde radiação até meteoros. Isso é apenas o início. Citei somente algumas variáveis conhecidas mas, existem milhares de outras.
Quando submetemos estas poucas variáveis ao cálculo de probabilidade, chego a conclusão de que realmente somos a obra prima de Deus, que suporta todo o universo de forma que a vida humana seja viável. Sei também que Cristo em breve virá buscar sua igreja. Estamos mais perto do que nunca deste evento.
