Lemos na bíblia em Mateus 21:12 e 13
“E entrou Jesus no templo de Deus, e expulsou todos os que vendiam e compravam no templo, e derribou as mesas dos cambistas e as cadeiras dos que vendiam pombas; E disse-lhes: Está escrito: A minha casa será chamada casa de oração; mas vós a tendes convertido em covil de ladrões.”
O caso da expulsão dos comerciantes do templo deu-se numa circunstância em que a casa de Deus (no caso o templo) estava sendo transformado em casa de comércio, ou seja, o comércio havia se tornado a atividade principal e não a ministração e estudo da Palavra de Deus. Os sacerdotes se beneficiavam diretamente deste comércio de forma que os animais que não fossem comprados deste comércio do templo não eram aceitos como holocausto e a população era oprimida por esta espécie de cartel que trazia a corrupção para dentro do templo.
A bíblia não defende a venda de livros e CDs ou DVDs ou qualquer outra coisa dentro dos templos (igrejas), por razões óbvias – a igreja tem uma função simples, deve ser o lugar onde a Palavra de Deus é pregada e ensinada, tudo o que vier a tomar o lugar do evangelho deve ser retirado da igreja.
Entendo que a atividade comercial no meio cristão tem um fim importantíssimo de gerar recursos que financiem a continuidade da pregação do evangelho, bem como as boas ações que a igreja pratica em ajudar os mais necessitados porém, quem financia a igreja é Deus. Deus é o dono do ouro e da prata, se Ele te enviou é Ele que vai providenciar os recursos. Já vi até ateus declarados investirem financeiramente em igrejas, portanto as atividades comerciais não podem e não devem nunca tomar o lugar de culto.
Na igreja primitiva todos davam tudo o que tinham, deitavam aos pés dos Apóstolos (Atos 4 e 5) para que estes administrassem, de forma que não faltasse nada a ninguém e a Palavra continuava a ser pregada. Deus é o mesmo ontem, hoje e sempre.

Why Did Jesus Expel Merchants From Inside the Temple?
We read in the bible in Matthew 21:12 and 13
“And Jesus entered the temple of God, and drove out all who sold and bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of money changers and the chairs of those who sold doves; And he said to them, It is written, My house will be called a house of prayer; but you have made it a den of thieves. ”
The case of the expulsion of merchants from the temple occurred in a circumstance in which the house of God (in this case the temple) was being transformed into a house of commerce, that is, commerce had become the main activity and not the ministry and study of the Word of God. The priests directly benefited from this trade so that animals that were not bought from this temple trade were not accepted as a holocaust and the population was oppressed by this kind of cartel that brought corruption into the temple.
The bible does not advocate the sale of books and CDs or DVDs or anything else inside temples (churches), for obvious reasons – the church has a simple function, it must be the place where the Word of God is preached and taught, everything whoever takes the place of the gospel must be removed from the church.
I understand that commercial activity in the Christian milieu has a very important purpose of generating resources that finance the continuation of the preaching of the gospel, as well as the good actions that the church practices in helping the most needy, however, it is God who finances the church. God is the owner of gold and silver, if He sent you it is He who will provide the resources.
