Por diversas vezes em nossas vidas somos e seremos provados por grandes tentações, provocações e privações. Isso não acontece somente na vida do cristão, mas com todas as pessoas que vivem neste planeta.
Mas como sair disso sendo aprovado? Como não se deixar conduzir por aquilo que devemos resistir?
A Bíblia nos ensina que somos atraídos naquilo que somos fracos. Se você é fraco com dinheiro será atraído a errar neste sentido, entrar numa maracutaia, enganar e ludibriar alguém esperando receber alguma compensação financeira. Se você é fraco em relação a sua sexualidade, vai ficar mais difícil resistir a pornografia, ainda mais com o acesso facilitado a qualquer momento através da Internet. Algumas pessoas são fracas com comida e se tornam obesas e glutões.
Saiba que tudo isso pode ser combatido, mas que o primeiro passo é seu. É perfeitamente possível dizer não para uma proposta de estelionato, só depende de você. Só depende de você bloquear os sites pornográficos em seu navegador da Internet. Só depende de você cuidar do seu corpo e da sua saúde abrindo mão do prazer de alguns alimentos que podem te destruir.
Deus não vai abrir a sua boca para que você diga não ao erro, mas pode abençoar a sua vida financeira para que você não precise aceitar se meter em negócios ilícitos. Deus não vai bloquear a sua Internet mas pode te ajudar a encontrar uma pessoa que lhe seja companheira para toda a vida. Deus não vai te fazer emagrecer, mas pode ajudar a te dar disposição e disciplina para que você cuide da sua saúde.
Olhe para a sua fraqueza e dificulte cada vez mais o acesso ao que te faz pecar. O jejum e a oração são as ferramentas mais poderosas para nos ajudar a resistir às tentações.

We read in the Bible in 1 Corinthians 10:13
